A new module named "Community Builder" has been installed on the CFD site. The baseline functionality has been enabled. In it's current implementation you, the user / member are able to:
- Post a profile on the CFD website. Profiles include items like...
- Personal Records for workouts, lifts, runs, rows and the like
- Contact Info
- A photo
- Misc. User Info
- Your CrossFit Story
- Search various user profile fields
- Establish connections between users
- View "members only" content
- Be able to post content to the CFD site.
- If this interests you -- notify us.
- One idea is to create a category called "I WILL" - for users /members. This would be populated by posts from members that list a goal or goals.
- Comments would be open so members could offer their support to another.
- The idea here is to create a measure of accountability. Accountability is GOOD.
- This content could be for registered users only.
- Any thoughts on this?
What you need to do:
If you've registered in the past you already have a skeleton of a profile. To access it, use the login form at the bottom of any page. You can use the same email / pw combo you used or have it sent to you if it's broken. OR Create a new registration. Note -- all registrations are manually approved. Image uploads are also manually approved - lest ne'er do well sneak through and try to post questionable content. Once you're in - fill out your PR's as you hit them. Remember, anytime you do a benchmark named workout for the first time, even if it's scaled -- that's a record! Share it! Also - if there is a field or a tab you would like to see -- let us know!
Thanks!
