Do you need Personal Training : Foundations Sessions?
Well, here's a simple test - just read these sentences:
- John's clean get's better when he's a little tired, especially the third pull.
- Sue killed the Sumo-Deadlift High-Pulls in today's WOD
- Bob was doing ring rows, but now he does pull-ups with the blue band.
- Abs? What about them? We overhead squat.
- Snatch it!
- Kelly swings that kettlebell like Pavel!
- I told Jerry to go work on his push press and then his push jerk.
If the preceding read like / sound like Greek or Latin or Klingon to you -- chances are you could benefit from some personal training via our Foundations Series before you join goup classes.
What you get:
An introduction to CrossFit in a personal training atmosphere. Over the course of three one on one personal training sessions you'll learn to safely perform the fundamental movements we use in our CrossFit WODs:
- squat
- front squat
- press
- push press
- push jerk
- overhead squat
- deadlift
- sumo-deadlift-high-pull
- med-ball clean
These movments, along with other bits like using the Glute Ham Developer, Wall Ball, Double Unders, Box Jumps, Kettlebell Swings, Front Squat and maybe even a Back Squat or a Turkish Get Up will have you ready to hit the workout of the day (WOD).
